My father Robert William James Hamilton was on board H M Minesweeper Halcyon from 12^th December 1944 until 4^th April 1946. His Service Number was JX381101. His Rating was: AB Radar. His release date was: 13^th June 1946.

He was born on 3rd March 1924. and died on 8^th September 2002.

I have the small Union Flag that some of his 'colleagues' signed. Across the centre it has written on it:

HM Minesweeper Halcyon  (horizontal)

May 8 1945 (vertical)

It has been signed by:
